Taste of Bethesda cooks up a show

Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle will be home to the 2015 Taste of Bethesda food festival.

The annual Taste of Bethesda festival is returning this upcoming weekend to the capital region. Held at Woodmont Triangle in Bethesda, MD, this culinary tradition will be visited by over 40,000 attendees. This event, presented by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, will be held along with Come Back to Bethesda, an exciting showcase of classic automobiles.

Visitors to this gathering will be able to sample foods from 60 restaurants, while enjoying plenty of live entertainment, ranging from Irish dance to “Oasis Island Sounds.” Food can be purchased through a system of taste tickets, that will be on sale for $5 for a bundle of four. Ticket sales end at 3:30 pm and restaurants will be serving their creations from 11am to 4pm. Aside from the meal tickets, admission to the event itself is free of charge.

Children can rejoice at the kid’s corner, where they can get their faces painted and enjoy a variety of lovely arts and crafts.

Taste of Bethesda will be held rain or shine and can be accessed by public transportation via the Bethesda metro station on the red line.
